Last Friday, 14th June saw our second Soundbites Event following on from the success of our inaugural event in the Spring Term.

Once again our fabulous Junior’s PTA FOSJH laid on some delicious treats, a Father’s Day raffle as well as a tombola and pocket money stall to name a few. St Johns Hall had a fabulous buzz of excitement, with pupils, family and friends enjoying some wonderful music provided by 32 of our super young musicians – playing on a wide variety of instruments ranging from trombone, through to piano, cello, violin, flute and drum kit.

After much careful deliberation, Head Ms Boyes and Director of Junior Section Mr Rowley named Ruby in Year 5 as the winner of the FOSJH Soundbites Trophy for her performance of My Bonnie Lies of the Ocean.  It was a truly fabulous way to start the weekend!
