We believe that leadership can be cultivated through the development of intellect, leadership skills and qualities, and plenty of opportunities to practice. We encourage our students to think of themselves as leaders and work to support and empower our future female leaders both in our school community and regionally. By combining personal and professional development with an innovative curriculum and regional events, Wakefield Girls’ serves as a resource to parents, students and educators.
During their school life at Wakefield Girls’, students have many opportunities to develop important, sought after skills and abilities by taking on leadership roles. This starts at an early age in Juniors and continues throughout Sixth Form. We hope that your daughter will apply for those positions of interest to her so she benefits from the experience of different roles.
Coaching training is provided for students to help them support each other effectively, whether as form sergeants, peer mentors or prefects.
We happily empower and support all Wakefield Girls and education here features our successful, highest achieving alumnae who are ready to share their diverse professional experiences and support as role models.
