A weekend of netball excellence saw both the U16 and U19 teams achieve remarkable success at the England Netball National Schools Regional competition held at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.

On Saturday, the U16 squad dominated the competition, finishing the day undefeated and earning the coveted title of Yorkshire and Humberside Champions. Co-Captains Ella  and Annabel led their team with skill and determination, securing convincing victories against tough competition from across the region.

The following day, the U19 squads faced an equally challenging field. Their talent and exceptional work ethic shone brightly, with Lillie  leading the charge alongside Co-Captain Maddy . The team’s outstanding performance earned them a well-deserved second-place finish.

Both the U16 and U19 squads have now secured their places in the England Netball National Schools Netball Finals, which will also be held at the EIS in March. This is an exceptional achievement, as we are the only school in the region to have two teams progress to this prestigious national stage.

The hard work continues as both squads now prepare to compete against the very best netball schools in the country. The school community is immensely proud of their achievements and looks forward to supporting them at the finals.
