Our Wakefield Girls’ Junior Section gathered in a packed Jubilee Hall last Friday for the highly anticipated annual Speech Day, a spectacular showcase of pupil achievement, community spirit, and collective pride.
It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect upon an amazing academic year, celebrating the individual and year group successes that have taken place across academics, sport, music, and extracurricular activities. Pupils and their families were treated to a series of inspiring addresses alongside superb musical performances, which beautifully highlighted the creative talent nurtured within the Junior Section.
A massive well done must go to all of our talented Junior pupils, whose dedication, hard work, and resilience have shone brightly throughout the year.
Speech Day also marked an emotional milestone for our wonderful Year 6 cohort as they officially look ahead to their next chapter. We wish them the absolute best of luck as they graduate from the Junior Section and take their exciting next steps into the Senior School this September.
We were particularly delighted to welcome back distinguished guest speaker and proud Old Girl, Rebecca Ward. Our alumni beautifully embodies what it means to be a Wakefield Girl, and Rebecca’s inspiring words left a lasting impression on pupils, staff, and parents alike, making the day truly unforgettable.
Thank you to everyone in our incredible school community who joined us to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our pupils.
