We were absolutely thrilled to open our doors and welcome back Old Girls and former staff members for our annual Summer Reunion on Saturday, June 21st! It was a truly wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, lively conversations, and the heartfelt sharing of stories, all in the glorious sunshine.

Our guests had a fantastic time exploring Wakefield Girls’ once more, revisiting their old classrooms and favourite hangouts, before gathering for a delicious lunch in Jubilee Hall. This annual event is a highlight, bringing together Old Girls from across the country to reunite, reconnect, and reminisce about their cherished days at Wakefield Girls’. The guided tours were particularly popular, allowing everyone to see the updates and changes that have taken place since they last waved goodbye.

A special thank you goes to our outstanding catering team, who provided a delightful lunch, complemented by a welcoming glass of fizz on arrival and other refreshments from the bar, a truly perfect way to celebrate this special occasion!
