IAPS Art Competition

7th March 2025

We were delighted to see the incredible creativity and thoughtful interpretations of the “Reflect or Reflection” theme during our recent school art competition. As you know, students were encouraged to explore this theme in diverse ways, and the results were very impressive!

During the week of March 3rd, our Junior Section (Years 3-6) students poured their creativity into their artwork, using a variety of mediums from painting and drawing to collage and sculpture. The senior school judges were thoroughly impressed by the students’ ability to capture the essence of reflection, whether through literal representations or deeper, more personal explorations.

We are excited to announce the first-place winners from each year group, who demonstrated exceptional interpretation of the theme, creativity, and overall design.

  • Year 3:
    • 1st Place: Rose
  • Year 4:
    • 1st Place: Aizah
  • Year 5:
    • 1st Place: Fleur
  • Year 6:
    • 1st Place: Anaya

A huge congratulations to all our winners!

We are particularly proud to announce that the remarkable artwork of Rose (Year 3) and Anaya (Year 6) has been selected to represent our school in the IAPS (Independent Association of Prep Schools) Art Competition. Their pieces beautifully embodied the theme and demonstrated exceptional skill. We wish them the very best of luck in the upcoming competition!

The shortlisted artwork, including the winning pieces, will be displayed in St. John’s Hall.

Thank you for your continued support of the arts and for encouraging your children’s creative endeavors.
