Huge congratulations to Olivia (Mackie) and William (Cave), the Year 5 winners of our inaugural co-educational Bake-Off competition between WGHS and QEGS!

The exciting event saw the finalists impressing judges from Holroyd Howe with their culinary skills. Olivia and William were tasked with creating pinwheel biscuits and vanilla whoopie pies,delicious treats that showcased their baking talents and creativity.

The competition began with students baking their sweet creations at home, with house leaders selecting two finalists per house. Each finalist earned valuable house points for their efforts, contributing to a fun and spirited event that brought the school community together.

Well done to all the finalists and participants for their hard work and delicious results! Your enthusiasm and baking skills were truly on display.
