We are incredibly proud of our brilliant Year 8 & 9 team — Rebecca, Azariah, Amelia, and Dominique — who took on the exciting challenge of the What on Earth! Magazine Schools’ Challenge Quiz. After a fierce competition, with questions drawn from six issues of What on Earth! covering diverse topics such as World Culture, History, Geography, Physics, and Biology, our team successfully advanced to the Grand Final!

Their hard work, dedication, and teamwork have truly shone through, and we couldn’t be prouder of their fantastic achievement.

The What on Earth! School Quiz is an online competition consisting of three challenging rounds of general knowledge questions, all based on key topics from the magazine. Schools are tested on both their knowledge and speed, with subjects ranging from world culture and history to geography, physics, and biology. This year, over 300 schools participated, and as a late entry we are thrilled that our team has made it to the grand finals!

As finalists, they will now enjoy an expenses-paid trip to London at the end of November, where they will face even tougher questions against the clock, competing with other top schools from across the country.
