WGHS Junior Section Hosts Annual Harvest Festival, Supporting Local Charities

10th October 2024

On Tuesday, the Junior Section celebrated Harvest by bringing in donations for the St Catherine’s Food Pantry. The generous contributions were collected and delivered by the Head Girl and prefect team, who arranged the items at the front of St John’s Church in preparation for the Junior Section’s Harvest Service later that morning.

During the service, each year group shared presentations about the importance of harvest, with the overarching theme focusing on generosity and supporting those in need. The U11 Choir beautifully performed a song about friendship and helping others, reinforcing the core message of the day’s celebrations. The event was a heartfelt reminder of the importance of community and giving back.
