On Monday 5th February, our Junior students from Wakefield Girls’ alongside their peers at QEGS participated in our annual Cross Country Competition, reigniting their House rivalries! 

A huge congratulations to all the runners who participated and earned points for their Houses. The courses were differentiated for each age group and took the runners on an enjoyable journey around the playing fields of both Wakefield Girls’ and QEGS. Resilience and determination were demonstrated throughout the afternoon which resulted in some exciting finish line battles. Competition for first place was spirited and challenging. Congratulations to Mackie House who won overall, and well done to Jessica, Thea, Phoebe and Rosa who came first in their respective year groups!
