Cabaret Evening 2023

20th October 2023

On Thursday 19th October, we held our annual Cabaret Evening in the Jubilee Hall, which was filled with family and friends who made up our friendly audience keen to cheer and celebrate our brilliant students.

25 singers, who have been preparing their pieces for several weeks, lifted the roof entertaining us with their chosen songs. Their performances were accompanied by a live house band – consisting of our String Ensemble group, Mr MacSween on guitar, Mr Chamberlain on bass, and Akondu on drums.

The evening was also raising money for SM4LL, a Wakefield Charity that supports Music education in our local area.

Thank you to all our students for their musical performances, and of course to family and friends of Wakefield Girls’ for joining us to celebrate them. Additionally, thank you to our wonderful PTA who served confectionery and refreshments to savour whilst enjoying the relaxing evening of music.
