Our Equestrian Team has had some very successful results and shown excellent teamwork and perseverance. In dressage we have had excellent results with the team of Grace Hunt, Tilly Smith, Florence Smith and Isobel Wood finishing in 3rd place and Isobel Wood and Tilly Smith gaining 1st and 2nd places individually at prelim level. This was followed by another good team dressage in which Tilly Smith, Jessica Blake and Florence Smith did incredibly well to finish 7th in a very competitive test. In show jumping we had events at Northallerton and Bishop Burton. We had a fantastic win in the 70cm and have also seen some fabulous individual results in the 80cm classes including a 2nd, 3rd and 5th place in very competitive classes. For the last National schools event for this season Jessica Blake and Jenny Morrell competed at a One Day Event at Northallerton Equestrian. Jenny stepped up to compete at 90cm for the first time with her horse Minnie. They had a positive experience in all three phases to finish 7th. Jessica, competing with her horse Charlie in their first event this season, had a fantastic day in the 70cm class to win the class.
