Students from Wakefield Girls’ and QEGS came together for an exciting collaboration in a creative workshop with a chance to also involve parents in the evening session. The multi-disciplinary artist Sarah Jane Palmer shared her expertise in printmaking, helping our textiles students craft unique designs for their A-level portfolios and equipping them with techniques they can use in their future projects. This workshop was a fantastic way for students to expand their skill sets, learning directly from an industry professional. These sessions are held three times a year, and the evening format offers a perfect chance for both students and parents to come together, explore new creative skills, and engage in a shared learning experience.
This event proves to be popular every year. Many thanks to Sarah for thoroughly engaging our students with her skill and expertise.
