Our Year 7 students recently enjoyed a captivating educational trip to the Salts Mill Gallery in Saltaire, immersing themselves in the vibrant world of art. Throughout the visit, our students demonstrated remarkable maturity and a genuine passion for David Hockney’s iconic artwork.

The day was dedicated to artistic exploration, with students meticulously sketching and drawing inspiration from Hockney’s distinctive and colourful pieces displayed across various exhibitions. Their engagement was truly impressive; they captured the essence of Hockney’s unique style with incredible creativity and concentration.

This inspiring trip allowed our Year 7 students to connect meaningfully with world-class art, fostering an appreciation for cultural heritage right on their doorstep. A huge well done to all the students who took part in this wonderfully enriching experience!
