A fantastic start to the week for our intrepid Year 5 students as they embarked on their 3-day residential trip to Robinwood! Day one was packed with action and adventure, with the children enthusiastically throwing themselves into a range of exciting activities. From scaling the heights of the climbing wall to testing their aim in archery, navigating the mysterious nightline, and soaring through the air on the trapeze, there was never a dull moment.

We also had some celebrating to do as we marked the birthdays of three of our wonderful Year 5 students. Angelina and Miranda, whose birthdays fell on the first day, and Esme, whose special day is on Friday, were treated to a rousing chorus of “Happy Birthday” followed by a delicious birthday cake and warming hot chocolate. A huge “Happy Triple Birthday!” to our lucky students!

After a well-deserved good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast to fuel their adventures, Day 2 is now well underway. The children are embracing the Robinwood spirit, pushing themselves to try new things, demonstrating fantastic resilience, and most importantly, having a huge amount of fun! Today’s action-packed schedule includes tackling the very high climbing wall and navigating an exciting adventure course, promising another day filled with challenges and triumphs.
