Year 4 embark on an ancient Egyptian adventure

Today , year 4 embarked on an unforgettable adventure into the world of ancient Egypt! The girls stepped into the shoes of archaeologists, eagerly digging through sand to uncover hidden treasures and fascinating artefacts. As they uncovered the mysteries of the past, they also delved into the life of the legendary boy king, Tutankhamun, through a series of engaging historical research tasks.

The students also crafted their own stunning pendant necklaces, inspired by the ancient Egyptian amulets, and used their knowledge of hieroglyphics to design unique personal bookmarks on papyrus paper. Everyone enjoyed the truly hands-on experience, blending creativity with historical discovery!

It was a pleasure to see, the students also displaying incredible resilience and perseverance, tackling each activity with enthusiasm and determination. This workshop was not just a lesson in history, but an inspiring display of teamwork, curiosity, and the joy of discovery!
