Junior’s Hockey Developments

28th November 2023

On 24th November, the blazing autumnal sun welcomed us to Pocklington School on a cold and crisp Friday afternoon.

Our Year 5 and 6 hockey squads performed admirably against some well drilled opposition.  There was some great play by all teams who showed perseverance and resilience throughout, despite the cold conditions.

The fixture versus Pocklington is a new one for us at Wakefield Girls’ Junior Section and it is one we look forward to playing again next season.

Great goals were scored in the U10 matches by Amelia Y, Idun H, Claudia H, Caelynn S and Imogen F; in the U11 matches Mila P and Cayla P scored. Well done girls!
