On Tuesday 4th July, our Year 6 students and parents arrived in the St. John’s House playground, for one of their final get-togethers whilst at Juniors. Students, parents and staff enjoyed a BBQ in the afternoon sun, listening to music and fondly recounting memories made during their four years at Juniors. 

There were speeches by Head Ms Boyes and Director of Junior section Mr Rowley, who both spoke about the joy it has been teaching and getting to know our wonderful cohort of Year 6 students, and the exciting years coming up for them as Seniors. 

We hope our Year 6 Leavers enjoyed their afternoon socialising with friends and families in our Wakefield Girls’ community, and wish everyone a wonderful summer of fun and exploration, before embarking on their new academic adventure in September.
