For the past four months, an entrepreneurial group of Year 10 students have been taking part in an exciting enterprise: ‘Challenge 300’. The team showed fabulous leadership and planning skills as they formed a business plan to operate an online jewellery store, doing everything ‘in-house’ from design and manufacture to marketing and accounting. After structuring their small business and sourcing funding to start their business project, the team created and refined a popular jewellery range which they sold through a website they developed, undertaking all communications to drive sales with an end goal of raising £300 for a charity of their choice.
The students chose the MND Association as the beneficiary of their profits which exceeded their target, raising a total of £415.82! Congratulations to Hareem, Isra, Tilly, Fleur, Aamnah, Elaha, Saarah and Aimee!
