We have an ongoing partnership with St Mary’s CofE VA Primary School, Outwood Primary Academy Parkhill, Greenhill Primary School and Flanshaw Junior & Infants School and every year our staff and Sixth Form student leaders enjoy collaborating with around 30 students from these schools on a range of projects, workshops and master classes.
Over a series of 8 weekends, Deputy Head of Teaching and Learning Mr Eggleston teamed up with our SHINE Partnership Coordinators Mrs Maher and Mr Burrows, over at our brother school QEGS, to bring guests on our programme to school in our school minibus.

Saturday 25th February was our celebration event, acknowledging all of the children’s achievements over the past couple of months. We were delighted to host an awards ceremony for participants, their families and staff from partner schools..
We would like to extend a massive thank you to our Sixth Form Student Leaders who helped out, collaborating, problem solving and managing the experiences. We hope you enjoyed yourself too! We look forward to building on and enhancing our SHINE partnership work next academic year.
