Textiles Visit to Yorkshire Sculpture Park

21st October 2022
On the 21st of October,  31 Year 10 and 11 students took part in a Textiles trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. We are so lucky to have such a valuable resource on our doorstep as it enables students to see artwork first hand.
The students got to experience exhibitions by Jaume Plensa titled In Small Places, Close to Home and Janine Burrows:  A Yorkshire Conversation. Whilst at the park students took photographs and interpreted the patterns, colours and shapes of sculptures and the general scenery into their own work. This is invaluable as they start their GCSE and A Level courses .
