Feeling unstable about Radioactivity? We will discuss the basic concepts and student misconceptions, suggest classroom activities and approaches for practical work, and give opportunities for further sharing of best practice.

Event Description:

Are you looking to enhance your understanding and teaching of radioactivity? Join Wakefield Girls’ High School and Physics Partners for a dedicated twilight workshop, designed to support Physics educators in our region. This session, “Radioactivity,” will delve into the fundamental concepts, address common student misconceptions, and provide practical classroom activities and approaches. Participants will also have the opportunity to share best practices and network with fellow educators.

This workshop is part of an ongoing series aimed at building a strong local network for Physics teachers. Whether you are a newly qualified teacher or an experienced Physics educator, you are warmly invited to attend.
