Association for Language Learning (ALL) Wakefield Network Meeting
Following the success of the ALL Wakefield Network launch earlier this year, where we had planned our next meeting, I am now delighted to invite you to the following event, themed: “New GCSE – New Opportunities, New Challenges”
Date: Wednesday 25th June 2025
Time: 4.15pm – 6.00pm (arrivals from 4.00pm for a prompt start)
Venue: Wakefield Girls’ High School, WF1 2QS (on-site parking available)
An online option will be offered if necessary.
This meeting will provide a valuable opportunity for MFL teachers and HoDs from across the region to come together and reflect on the first year of delivering the new GCSE specification. It will offer a supportive forum to share experiences, explore practical classroom strategies, and consider both the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Attendance is free and open to both ALL members and non-members.
Light refreshments will be provided.
To confirm your place, please register here by Friday 20th June. If you are willing to share a teaching idea, resource, or classroom activity related to the new GCSE, please indicate this when registering.
We look forward to a productive and inspiring collaboration.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I look forward to welcoming you back to a vibrant community of language educators.
Warm regards,
Claudia
