#empowHER is a conference for girls in Years 5 that will showcase and inspire confidence and skills in leadership. This conference fosters personal development through participation in fun and powerful activities that will uncover strength, confidence and ability to self-advocate. What's On

#empowHER is an action packed one day conference featuring keynote speakers who will inspire and help girls to uncover their strengths, developing confidence and early leadership skills through fun workshops. The conference opens at 9am with ice-breakers after arrival to help everyone settle in. There will be plenty of time for breaks and games in between workshops. Lunch is included and following the afternoon workshops, we’ll close the day on a high note with a celebratory event. Parents are invited to join the celebrations from 2.15pm.

Who Are The Keynote Speakers

#empowHER keynote speakers are a range of female leaders with diverse backgrounds from a range of different industries, all with expertise in the most sought after leadership skills. They are also all alumnae of Wakefield Girls’ and members of the school powHER panel.

What To Bring

Please come in comfortable, casual clothes – ready for a day of fun, indoors and out. Please also bring a water bottle with you. This is all you will need unless you have any special requirements (and then please let us know).
