Association for Language Learning (ALL) Wakefield Network – Launch
I am thrilled to announce that the UK’s major subject association for Language Learning (ALL) has recently approved the Launch of a Wakefield Network.
It’s an exciting initiative designed to bring together Modern Language Teachers and Heads of Department to collaborate, share best practices, and shape the future of language education.
Launch Event Details:
Date: Wed, 5th February 25
Time: 4.15 – 6.00pm
Location: Wakefield Girls’ High School (WF1 2QS, parking available) and via Zoom
RSVP by: Fri, 31st January 25
The launch will be a hybrid event taking place at WGHS and via Zoom to give all colleagues the opportunity to join in. The focus will be on “The Promotion of Languages through Curriculum Design” followed by a group activity and time to discuss common needs in order to tailor upcoming Network sessions.
Furthermore it will provide a platform to connect with fellow Modern Language Teachers and HoDs, to discover opportunities for collaboration and professional development as well as to learn about the goals and vision of the Modern Language Teachers’ Network.
Food for thought as well as coffee and biscuits will be provided.
I believe your expertise and passion for language teaching would make a valuable contribution to this network, and I would be delighted to have you join us for this as well as upcoming sessions.
SIGN UP here or by email (cdonaugre@wgsf.net) to join the network.
