On Monday 11th March Year 13 A level Psychology students enjoyed a super-curricular revision day with Professor Jean-Marc Lawton working on their exam technique and applying their psychological knowledge. 

Jean-Marc is a teacher and lecturer of Psychology, has been a Senior A Level Examiner for over 20 years and has experience teaching a range of age-groups and abilities in face to face classes, open learning via computer, phone and video conferencing. He has authored a number of Psychology textbooks including Hodder Education’s AQA approved textbooks.

Throughout the day, Jean-Marc guided students through the key topics in their Psychology A-Level syllabus, and took students through the key ‘A grade skills’ of analysis, evaluation, creation and application needed to reach those top grades.

Thank you to Jean-Marc for taking time out of his busy schedule to join us in person at Wakefield Girls’ and for providing excellent resources and exam tips for our Psychology A-Level students. The revision day undoubtedly supported our students and gave them additional revision tips, bolstering their confidence ahead of their final exams in the coming months.
