“Wakefield Girls’ played an incredibly important role in shaping not only my career path but also the person I am today, teaching me to have a voice in any room, never be afraid to challenge and share my own thoughts and opinions. Being surrounded by other supportive, amazing, talented girls throughout my school career undoubtedly gave me the confidence to always aspire and keep growing and developing at work. School also taught me to have conviction and value myself and my skills and as such that I am confident in an environment that can, at times, be dominated by male voices.”
