What an amazing competition we have had this year! In the preliminary heats, Mrs White had the pleasure of listening to around 222 performances, and, as always, the standard was outstanding. It has been wonderful to hear a mix of less common instruments – such as the trombone, tenoroon, baritone, tenor horn, cello and oboe – and many old favourites.
The final was a wonderful morning celebrating the remarkable musical talent we have in the Junior School. We were delighted, once again to welcome Mr Meredith as our esteemed adjudicator for the event. Our girls all gave truly exceptional performances, demonstrating confidence, determination and joy.
We are so lucky to have so many talented musicians playing an impressive variety of instruments at such a high standard. Keep up the great work and keep practising!
