As part of their History curriculum, Year 4 pupils had an exciting visit to Leeds City Museum to deepen their understanding of Ancient Egypt.

The girls explored various aspects of Ancient Egyptian life, from the geography and culture to the rich history of the civilisation. A highlight of the visit was the opportunity to see a real Egyptian mummy, sparking awe and fascination among the pupils. They also took part in hands-on activities, quickly mastering the ancient art of preparing a mummy for burial!

This week, the girls are eagerly anticipating the next phase of their learning journey with an immersive Egyptian workshop, which promises to build on their newfound knowledge.
