The netball courts at the WGHS Games Field were ablaze with energy on February 23rd, as our Under 10 and Under 11 netball teams faced Pocklington School in an enthralling display of skill and sportsmanship. Despite the chilly conditions, the players exhibited exceptional teamwork and determination and their success was a result of this!

U11 A team won 13 – 7

U11 B team won 19 – 1

U10 A team won 23 – 3

U10 B team won 19 – 0

Well done to all students for their skilful play. There were several outstanding performances which did not go unnoticed: congratulations to Sophia, Elsie, Immy, and Harriet who distinguished themselves on the court, earning the well-deserved recognition as Players of the Match.
