Kudos to our exceptional Year 12 pupils who played a crucial role in organising our SHINE workshops over the past months.

This Saturday, 24th February, we held a SHINE Celebration event where all the primary students who took part in 16 diverse sessions over 8 weeks, covering topics including DT, Art, Baking, Solar System, Textiles, Latin, French, Chemistry, Music, Geography, RS, English, and Maths, were honoured with certificates and personalised scrolls.

The attendees, including families and staff from participating schools such as Outwood Primary Academy Park Hill, St Mary’s C of E, Flanshaw Junior & Infants, and Outwood Primary Academy Greenhill, enjoyed a splendid buffet lunch and joined in the festivities.

We extend our gratitude to our governors, Mr M Shevill and Mr A McKinlay, as well as the staff from WGHS and QEGS for their presence at the event.
