On Friday 1st December, Year 11 students had a relaxing day of fun, as a reward and well-deserved respite, after completing two weeks of mock examinations.
In the morning, students went to Cineworld Wakefield, to see the highly-anticipated Hunger Games prequel: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Students had a nutritious breakfast of popcorn, tango ice-blasts, and ice-creams as they watched the thrilling dystopian film.
Upon their return, students had their lunch in Peppers, and then congregated in the Jubilee Hall for an afternoon challenge of a table top Escape Room, where they had to try to break the lock on a safe!
We hope all our Year 11 students had an enjoyable day, socialising with friends and decompressing after their hard work this autumn term preparing for their mock examinations. This academic year is understandably challenging for students, and we are passionate about encouraging and supporting a good study / life balance for our students’.
