On Friday 1st December, our Under 10 netball teams played some fast flowing, competitive netball against Sheffield Girls’ Junior Section. The matches were played in chilly conditions at our Games Field.

Results:

Under 10 A team won 7 – 5.

Our U10 A team came up against a strong Sheffield team but persevered and battled to the final whistle. Their target for next match is be quick onto a 50/50 ball.

Under 10 B team won 9 – 0.

Our U10 B team defended well, moved the ball down the court effectively and were accurate with their shooting. Their target for the next match is to have strong, accurate passes from their shoulder or overhead, rather than from their chest.

Players of the match was awarded to Phoebe and Isla! There was also excellent play from Orla, Layla, Harriet and Amy. Congratulations to all of our students for their brilliant performances, we can’t wait to see how their skills develop throughout the year.
