Year 7 Sustainable Cities

27th June 2023

Year 7 students have been studying sustainability and the changes needed to create a better world for future generations.

Part of their studies included discussions about things that could be achieved individually, followed by exploration and investigation into how the design of our cities can impact human behaviour, and thus create a better environment for all.  Some classes have been working to create their own sustainable model city with plenty of innovation, creativity, and on display.  We have been very impressed with the vision and imagination shown by these Year 7 students in creating their desired future city.

Project work has culminated with students showcasing their design to their class. This was also a wonderful opportunity for each student to develop presentation skills to explain their ideas linked to their model.
