Year 9 Buddhist Trip

5th October 2022
28  Year 9 students chose to visit the Madhyamaka Kadampa Buddhist & Meditation Centre in Pocklington on Tuesday 4th October as part of their Religion, Philosophy and Ethics learning.

The visit was a wonderful opportunity to see a real Buddhist Shrine room in a Buddhist Centre and to hear a talk from an ordained, practicing Buddhist nun.  Year 9 were able to ask open questions to support and enhance their learning.  There was time for a meditation session before heading back to school too.

Students represented the school brilliantly.
