Wakefield Girls’ High School

Ethos of the Department

The Biology Department aims to provide a safe and stimulating environment in which to learn and work - through which our girls are encouraged to become active independent learners, with enquiring minds prepared to question and apply scientific principles.

We aim to stretch and challenge the more able whilst providing a supportive network to enable girls of all abilities to realise their full potential.
