Wraparound Care

To support the busy lives of working parents we offer excellent before and after school care and holiday clubs.
From 7.45am to 6pm
Our doors are open from 7.45am Monday to Friday during term time, with an exciting array of activities in our school hall. There is no charge.
After school, children can also take part in a wide range of supervised activities or just relax and chat with friends until 6pm. A light tea is provided for any child staying between 4.30pm and 6pm. After school sessions are £5 up to 4.30pm or £8 up to 6pm.
School Holiday Clubs
We offer school holiday clubs to support our busy parents. A new award-winning multi-activity programme is being launched for Summer 2024. The activity camp will be run by the popular holiday club provider, Total Sports. Sessions are carefully designed to be age appropriate and ensure children are active and engaged all day long with 2 choices every hour including music, dance, arts/crafts, pottery, Forest School, swimming and inflatable assault courses! Summer Holiday Club
- – Clubs run from 8am until 4pm Monday to Friday, with the option to extend to 5.30pm.
- – Drop off times are flexible between 8am – 9am.
- – You can book individual days or a whole week.
- – The cost for a standard day is £34.50 and an extended day is £40.50.
Important Booking Information
Summer clubs are open to our Pre-Prep children and will take place at Wakefield Grammar Pre-Preparatory School. However, as you book it is important that you choose the venue ‘Wakefield Grammar Pre-Preparatory School’ for children aged 3 and 4 and the venue ‘Queen Elizabeth Grammar School’ for children over 4. This is for processing purposes only – all Pre-Prep children will be on the Pre-Prep site. Total Sports will make sure your children are with the correct children that they know each day.
Please book places for 3 and 4 year old children at Wakefield Grammar Pre-Preparatory School.
Please book places for children from age 5 at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School.
