Our Pre-Prep Careers Week was a resounding success, transforming our school into a vibrant hub of exploration and learning about the diverse roles within our community. The week offered all our children a valuable glimpse into the range of career paths available to them as they journey through school .
Our Early Years children ended the week with a wonderfully practical and imaginative outing to a ‘mini city.’ Through hands-on play and exploration, they stepped into the shoes of various professionals. One moment they were brave Police Officers, the next skilful Hairdressers, diligent Construction Workers, busy Shopkeepers, caring Doctors, and engaging Teachers and so much more! This exciting, immersive experience was a perfect way to ignite their curiosity and spark their young imaginations. They thoroughly enjoyed exploring the different parts of the city, playing and learning more about each profession.
Meanwhile, our older children spent the week learning about various careers in their classrooms before attending our lively Pre-Prep Careers Fair on Friday. The energy and enthusiasm were palpable as each class took time to engage with our special guests. The children asked thoughtful questions and jumped into some hands-on learning, many even getting a chance to try on a police uniform!
This fantastic week would not have been possible without the generous support of our school community. We extend a huge thank you to our Alumni, Parents, staff, and other kind visitors who took the time out of their busy schedules to make the fair so special and informative.
The stands featured a variety of professions, ranging from Engineers, Police, and Doctors to Sports and Fitness experts, Dentists, and Lawyers. It was a truly fabulous week, full of learning and new experiences that all our children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in.
