Year 2 had an absolutely amazing time at the Theatre Royal, Wakefield, this week, immersing themselves in the fascinating world of theatre as part of their preparations for their upcoming play!
The children participated in a wonderfully interactive workshop, delving deep into what goes on both on stage and behind the scenes. They discovered the magic of set design, the importance of costumes, and the vital roles played by every single person involved in a production.
Beyond exploring the technical side, the children also had a fantastic opportunity to practice their own acting skills. This hands-on experience proved invaluable, significantly building their confidence and enhancing their performance techniques. It was a truly memorable and enjoyable outing that left both the children and teachers inspired!
