Today, school council members seized a powerful opportunity to make their voices heard, engaging in a dynamic discussion with Mrs Plumpton, a former Wakefield Girls’ student and a key member of the school’s governing body.

Bringing together students from across the foundation, the conversation was lively and thought-provoking. School councillors asked sharp, insightful questions on everything from cherished school traditions—like the beloved school song—to leadership roles, sports, arts, and beyond. Mrs Plumpton responded with enthusiasm, offering valuable insights and reinforcing our commitment to hearing and raising pupil voices.
