FS1 Head Off to the Antarctic

28th February 2023

FS1 have been looking at animals whose natural habitat is in the Arctic or Antarctic. In the small world area, the children have had the opportunity to create imaginative role play with polar bears. In the water tray there have been icebergs and various animals from the Arctic. There has been an opportunity to experiment with printing in the creative area. The children have been catching snowflakes in the finger gym and creating snowy scenes in the playdough. Outside, the children have put the home-made bird feed in the garden and have used the bird hide to spot the birds.
