On Tuesday our Year 2 children paid a visit the both WGHS Junior Section and QEGS Junior Section where they took part in a range of activities designed to help them settle in, the morning gave our oldest children a fantastic taste of life in the Junior Sections before September.

The children jumped into a variety of sessions, from meeting and getting to know their future Year 3 teachers to engaging in lively PE and Games lessons (with dodgeball being a particular hit!). They also showcased their musical talents, exploring different instruments and enjoying fun singing sessions in the music room – a real treat for what awaits them next academic year!

It was truly heartwarming to see the Year 3 students take the Year 2s ‘under their wings,’ ensuring everyone had a wonderful morning of discovery. Friendships blossomed and excitement for new beginnings filled the air. What a brilliant start to Year 2’s journey in the Junior Sections.
