Our Celebrations Assembly Gets a Special Visitor!

13th December 2024

This morning’s assembly was a vibrant celebration of student achievements, and there were plenty of reasons to be proud! The event kicked off with the exciting announcement of our Stars of the Week. These are outstanding students chosen from each year group, who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and hard work in their studies or throughout school life. Each of them received well-deserved recognition for their remarkable efforts and contributions.

In addition to honoring our hardworking students, the assembly was made even more special by a surprise visitor: Ernie the Owl! Ernie made a grand entrance to congratulate our school community for their incredible fundraising efforts. Over £6,000 was raised for the Leeds Children’s Hospital Charity, a truly inspiring accomplishment that highlights the generosity and compassion of our students. Ernie, as the symbol of wisdom and strength, couldn’t have been a more fitting guest to celebrate this fantastic achievement.

Today’s assembly reminded us of the power of hard work, kindness, and community spirit. Well done to everyone involved — you continue to make us proud!
