On Friday 8th March, we invited mothers and mother figures of our Year 2 children into school for a special Mother’s Day assembly. The children spoke confidently in front of their guests and sang beautifully, to a captive audience who were treated to a delicious afternoon tea.

Year 2 were particularly excited to present their mothers with a ceramic heart, which they had decorated themselves, along with a bunch of daffodils. There were smiles all around and some happy tears as the children showed their appreciation to their loved ones.
