On Saturday 2nd December, Head Mrs Gill embarked on a triumphant challenge: abseiling down the Moda building in Leeds, raising money for Leeds Hospitals Charity.
Mrs Gill brought our school mascot, Baley the owl, with her for the journey. Of course, since Baley is an owl, he is not afraid of heights; this was a brilliant reminder to Mrs Gill to be 10% braver, as that is where we grow and push ourselves to achieve wonderful things! This is a message we frequently remind our pupils.
This is only the beginning of Mrs Gill’s fundraising efforts – in April 2024 she will be running a marathon for Wakefield Hospice.
