Yesterday evening the Year 2 choir performed in Wakefield Girls’ Junior Spring Concert in Jubilee Hall. 

The children had been preparing for the performance for many weeks, memorising all of the lyrics so they could really focus on their singing. They also had the challenge of learning dance moves to really make the songs come alive and entertain their audience. 

The choir performed two songs: Brighter Day Tomorrow by M & H Johnson, and Purple People Eater by Wooley. 

Many thanks to Mrs White, Head of Music at Wakefield Girls’ Juniors, who accompanied on piano.  We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
