Christmas Nativity Celebrations!

14th December 2022

One of the highlights of the festive period for everyone at school is preparing the children for their Christmas Nativity. It can be challenging for the children to learn lines, songs and dances all at the same time, but they took it in their stride.

Our FS1 children performed incredibly in their Nursery Rhyme Nativity. We are so impressed by all of our farm animals, stars, angels, shepherds, wise men, and Mary and Joseph. You all were incredible, what superstars! This was their first Christmas Nativity, and we are certain that parents were extremely proud seeing their little ones up on stage, we definitely were!

FS2’s performed a Cock-A-Doodle Christmas performance. They spent the previous week working very hard to remember their lines, singing all the songs with actions, acting their part and safely getting on and off stage in the correct order – no mean feat!

Year 1 performed a ‘Christmas Counts’ Nativity, with incredible costumes and great eagerness. The children astounded their teachers with their fantastic acting skills, their loud and clear voices and their super singing. It was clear the children really enjoyed performing their Nativity for an audience and the limelight only made them sparkle even more.

A big thank you to the Year 2 children who were narrators and sang in the choir in the FS1 Nativity, you all performed beautifully and were a great source of inspiration for the FS1 children.

All the children were so brilliant and gave such enthusiastic performances in their respective shows, we are certainly in the Christmas spirit now. Thank you to all of the parents who came along to see our shows, we hoped you enjoyed it just as much as we did!
