At Pre-Prep this week we have been getting into the Christmas spirit, and we believe an essential part of Christmas is giving back to the community. For that reason, students decided they wanted to raise money for our chosen charities, Martin House, The Sick Children’s Trust and Horticare.
We then organised a sponsored ‘Santa Dash’ which was completed this morning. Pupils ran excitedly around the sports hall, completing an assault course, attempting to throw carrots into a target, and delivering presents from one side of the hall to the other, of course whilst being dressed in Christmas themed accessories.
The children raised a fantastic £1326.10! Thank you so much to families and friends within our school community who supported the children in their fundraising attempts.
We will be inviting our charities to our Speech Day in July, so cheques can be presented by our charity ambassadors.
