Junior Section Speech Day 2026

2nd July 2026

The Junior Section was filled with pride, applause, and plenty of smiles on Monday afternoon as pupils, staff, and families came together to celebrate another exceptional year at the annual Junior Speech Day.

As the summer term draws to a close, the ceremony provided a wonderful opportunity to recognise the individual achievements, dedication, and personal growth of every pupil over the past twelve months. From outstanding academic success and creative triumphs to remarkable personal development on and off the sports field, there was much to celebrate. The boys thoroughly deserved the roaring rounds of applause from the audience as their hard work was rightly spotlighted.

A particularly poignant moment of the afternoon was reserved for our Year 6 pupils. The cohort received a heartfelt send-off from the Junior Section as they prepare to embark on their next exciting adventures at Queen Elizabeth’s this September. Their contribution to Junior School life has been nothing short of exceptional, and they move up to Year 7  with the very best wishes of the entire teaching team.

The afternoon was a resounding success and a beautiful reflection of the school’s close-knit community. We extend our warmest thanks to all the families who joined us to support the boys and share in their success, and a massive well done goes to every single pupil for making this academic year such a memorable one.

A final thank you to Old Savilian, Ashley Mills, who was our guest speaker and presented the awards to our pupils.
