The QE Hall was back in action this week for the Senior House Music Competition, featuring a broad range of performances from soloists and full bands alike. It was a great evening that reflected the hard work students have been putting into their music throughout the year.

The variety on stage was impressive, with everything from brass and woodwind to vocal performances. The competition also included the QEGS Musician of the Year category, where students performed in front of a live audience and a panel of judges – a challenging task they all handled with great composure.

Well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to the staff and families who came along to support. It is clear that music remains a huge part of life here at QEGS.
